Several young ladies visited the convent on April 24th to learn how to make almond biscotti. Sister Bernardetta and Sister Barbara took the lead and the ladies were eager to help them. It was an interesting process and as the biscotti baked the convent was filled with the most wonderful aroma. Everyone was eager to gather in the chapel for evening prayer as the biscotti continued baking. It was an afternoon of much laughter, joy and camaraderie as these ladies continue their discernment of where God is calling them.
