A celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Divine Providence was hosted by Sister Barbara and Sister Bernardetta at their Daughters of Divine Providence convent in Covington, LA on November 16, 2019. An outdoor Mass was officiated by Father Anthony Odiong, Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling, LA and Father Mark Lomax, Pastor of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mandeville, LA - followed by a healing service and an outdoor community potluck luncheon. There were 180 participants which is a record attendance for this annual celebration. It was a beautiful, brisk day filled with peace, love and gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate with each other and share our faith and belief in God and the healing grace that is bestowed upon us. There were very generous donations made by attendees that will directly support our Daughters of Divine Providence mission in the Yucatan.
